Frequently Asked Questions
Drone Services & Video Production
We have collected the most common questions about our drone shoots and video productions here. Is your question missing? Just write to us, we are happy to help.

Legal, Permits & Safety
Do I need to handle permits or no-fly zones?
No, we take over this responsibility. We check every location thoroughly in advance. There are no-fly zones (e.g., near airports or military areas) where flights are not possible or allowed only with lengthy special permits. We tell you honestly and early what is feasible; and then handle all the paperwork and permits with Austro Control wherever allowed.
Is the drone operation legally compliant?
Yes, 100%. We fly exclusively with valid liability insurance and licenses. This protects you as the client from any liability. We guarantee a legally compliant operation according to current EU drone regulations.
Can we also fly in the city or over industrial sites?
Yes, in most cases flying in the city or over industrial sites is possible. We have the know-how and licensing for the "Specific" category to fly safely even in complex environments. If special permits are needed, we coordinate directly with the authorities.
Is there a risk for my employees or buildings?
There is always a residual risk in aviation, as technology can theoretically fail. But we minimize this risk extremely. We never fly over uninvolved people, use drones with anti-collision sensors, and prefer to abort once too often than too little in case of uncertainty. Should damage occur despite all caution, our comprehensive insurance covers it immediately.
Process & Planning
What happens if the weather doesn't play along on the shooting day?
No risk for you. We monitor the flight weather permanently. If rain or storm (>30 km/h) is forecast, we offer a free weather rescheduling to the next possible date. After all, we want brilliant results.
How much time should we plan for the shoot?
We work very efficiently. For real estate or simple terrain shots, 30-90 minutes of time on site are often enough. For complex video productions, we are happy to accompany you the whole day. Normal operations usually do not need to be interrupted during this time.
How fast can you complete a project?
We are flexible. In urgent cases (e.g., construction progress), we can act fast and often be on site within 24 hours, provided no complex special permits are needed. Just ask for your desired date without obligation.
Do I need to be present during the recording?
That is entirely up to you. Many of our customers like to be present live on site to determine the image section directly on the monitor and give direction. This is the most direct way to the desired result.
If you don't have time to be present, that's no problem either: After a detailed preliminary briefing where we clarify all requirements and perspectives, we implement the project independently and reliably for you.

Results & Usage
May I use the material for my website and advertising?
Yes, extensive usage rights are standard with us.
With the delivery, you receive the right to use the material for your own website, advertising, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), presentations, or print brochures for an unlimited time. There are no hidden running costs. Only for large-scale campaigns (e.g., TV advertising, cinema, or nationwide billboards) do you need an extended license, which we are happy to discuss individually.

What quality do the recordings have?
We produce to current professional standards and high quality.
We deliver videos in 4K resolution (up to 60fps) as standard, which ensures razor-sharp quality on all modern screens. We create photos with up to 50 megapixels, which offers more than enough reserves for detailed crops or large-scale printing quality.

Do I also get the raw material?
That depends on your package.
If you book us purely for the recording (e.g., as a supplier for your own marketing department), we are happy to hand over the unprocessed raw material (RAW/D-Log/S-Log3) for your own processing.
With finished video productions ("Full-Service"), you receive the fully edited and color-corrected end product. The handover of raw material is usually not intended in this case but can be agreed upon individually if needed.

Post-Production & Editing
How does the feedback process work for video editing?
The feedback process is transparent and runs in stages:
- Structure Cut (Rough Cut):
After approx. 2 weeks, you receive a first version without color correction. Here we check the structure and editing sequence together. You can provide feedback to swap, shorten, or rearrange scenes. - Fine Cut & Grading:
Only after your approval of the structure do we finalize the look (colors), sound, and effects. - Acceptance:
u receive the finished master video.
How quickly do I receive the results?
That depends on the scope. We often provide pure photos or unprocessed video raw material within 24-48 hours via download link, so you get results quickly. For edited video productions, we need time for the creative process. Usually, you receive the first version for review approx. 2 weeks after the last shooting day. However, we always agree on the exact schedule before the project starts.
Is the video color graded?
Yes, color grading is part of our quality claim. We film in a flat "Log" profile to capture maximum dynamic range. In the editing process, all clips receive professional color grading, which ensures consistent skin tones, rich colors, and a modern, cinematic look that fits your brand. Altough Color Grading is an additional service which must be booked and further costs are associated with it.
How are the photos edited?
We get the best out of every pixel. By default, photos are edited digitally to ensure a brilliant, desired look. On request, we also perform advanced retouching, such as removing disturbing objects (trash cans, construction fences) or "inserting" a blue sky if the weather wasn't perfect.
Can I choose the music for the video?
Yes, you can choose the music, and we take care of the license. We use a library of high-quality, royalty-free music. You are welcome to specify a style or select favorites in advance. We ensure that the music is correctly licensed for your use (Web/Social Media) so you don't get into trouble with copyright blocks.
Special Solutions
Are flights indoors (halls, offices) possible?
Yes, flights indoors are possible with our special FPV Cinewhoops. These drones are small, light, and have protected propellers. This allows us to fly safely through shelves, machine parks, or offices for spectacular one-take videos without risk to inventory or employees.
Can you document construction progress exactly?
Precision is our strength. We use GPS-supported flight routes to document construction progress by flying exactly the same perspective over months. This enables perfect before-and-after comparisons and timelapse videos of your construction site.
Can we combine the drone video with ground shots?
Absolutely. We see ourselves as a hybrid production. We not only deliver aerial images but seamlessly combine the drone video with ground shots using high-quality ground cameras, interviews, and detail shots for a finished film from a single source.
Uncertainties cleared up?
